Approve Acceptance of Project for Renovation at
Knights Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On July 11, 2006, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. and Mathews Construction to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities provided for a new walkway canopy and fire sprinkler system; reconfiguration of driveways and visitor parking; interior and exterior painting; and replacement of roof, plumbing fixtures, exterior doors, low voltage systems, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
