SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Portable Removal at
West Shore Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On May 20, 2008, the Board appointed Halfacre Construction Company to provide construction management services for installation, relocation, and removal of relocatable facilities (portables). The scope of work at West Shore Elementary School provides for disconnection and removal of 13 portable classrooms installed to support renovation of the school. The scope also includes removal of all temporary concrete walkways and restoration of the portable site.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish the cost for the project.

Construction cost is warranted at $63,430. The construction budget is $63,430. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
