SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS

Approve Agreement between The School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida and CSX Transportation, Inc. for construction of a sewer line to serve the "UUU" campus

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The construction of a sewer force main to serve the "UUU" campus requires that the line cross the right-of-way (ROW) owned by CSX Transportation Inc. in the vicinity of Gallagher Road and Martin Luther King Blvd. The attached agreement specifies the obligation of Hillsborough County Public Schools when constructing the sewer line within the CSX ROW.

Hillsborough County will enter into a separate agreement with CSX to outline the County's obligation in maintaining the sewer line once it is constructed and Hillsborough County Public Schools transfers ownership of the sewer line to the County.

There is a fee of $5,780 payable to CSX to prepare and execute the contract. The funding will be derived from Local Millage.
