Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Credit Amount of $60,747.00 for Metal Playcourt Canopy at
FishHawk Creek, Town & Country, and West Tampa Elementary Schools

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This project was planned by the Facilities Division. J.B.D. Construction, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for new metal playcourt canopies at FishHawk Creek, Town & Country, and West Tampa Elementary Schools.

The Board has previously approved an interlocal agreement with Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation, and Conservation Department that provides for funding in the amount of $157,000 by the County for a playcourt canopy at Town & Country Elementary School. Additionally, the Board has previously approved $50,000 of matching funds for the playcourt canopy at both FishHawk Creek and West Tampa Elementary Schools.

This change order provides for final reconciliation of the Direct Purchase Program.

Expenditures are funded as follows: $124,598 from FishHawk Creek's contribution, $50,000 from Millage Matching Funds; $157,000 from Hillsborough County, $12,723 from Millage Funds for Town & Country; and $119,723 from West Tampa's contribution, $50,000 from Millage Matching Funds.
