Approve Change Order No. 1 in the Amount of $102,870.00 Credit and a Time Extension of 30 Calendar Days, and Acceptance of Project for Softball Field Lighting at
King High School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

RHC and Associates, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On August 21, 2007, the Board awarded the contract to M. Gay Constructors, Inc., the low bidder. The scope of work provided for demolition and replacement of the softball field lighting system at King High School.

Change Order No. 1 provides for direct purchase of material and a 30 calendar day time extension for changes to the incoming power.

The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
