Approve Change Order No. 5 in the Credit Amount of $30,034.45 and Acceptance of Project for Classrooms for Kids Addition at
Valrico Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On November 9, 2006, the Board appointed Carruthers & Associates Architects P.A. and Manhattan Construction Company to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provides for an additional 16 classrooms. This addition is necessary to meet class size reduction requirements.

This change order provides for return of unused contingency funds.

The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance.
