This bid was prepared at the request of the Air Conditioning and Energy Management Services Department to establish fixed pricing for hermetic air conditioning compressors. On April 21, 2009, the Board approved ITB #9031-MST Air Conditioning Compressors, Hermetic. We did not receive any competitive pricing on several items, therefore, it was necessary to re-advertise. Award of this contract shall be to the lowest bidder for the overall groups of items, as specified in the bid. This recommendation has been reviewed by the Air Conditioning and Energy Management Services Manager. Funds of approximately $100,000 will be available in the Air Conditioning and Energy Management Services Department's budget for the purchase of hermetic air conditioning compressors.

Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report.
