Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Installation, Relocation, Removal and Demolition of
Relocatable Facilities

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On May 20, 2008, the Board appointed Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services on a continuing contract basis for installation, relocation, removal and demolition of relocatable facilities (portables). The scope of work provides for specific relocatable facility requirements at forty-four sites. The scope also includes allowances for estimated relocatable facility requirements through May, 2010. Unit prices have been established for the estimated requirements.

Approval of the guaranteed maximum price will establish a cost for the project.

Construction cost is warranted at $4,474,311.57. The construction budget is $4,474,320. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage.
