Walbridge Aldinger Company was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for roof repairs at Hillsborough High School.

Change Order No. 1 provides for repairs to roof framing required due to unforeseen and extensive water and termite damage uncovered during the repairs. The change order includes additional gutters and modifications to the slate roof support system recommended by the architect to prevent future deterioration. A time extension of 28 calendar days is included for completion of this work.

Change Order No. 2 provides for repairs to the roof and walls damaged during termite treatment of the building. The pest control company’s insurance provider will pay the cost of this repair. A time extension of 42 calendar days is included for completion of this work.

Funds for Change Order No. 1 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. Change Order No. 2 will be paid from insurance proceeds.
