Approve the Interlocal Agreement With the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department to Provide School Buses and Bus Drivers for Summer Field Trips
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will obtain the use of twenty-eight (28) buses and drivers to be employed for field trips servicing children participating in summer Parks and Recreation programs across the county. The dates of use range from June 15, 2009 through August 6, 2009. The trip destinations include sites in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Osceola and Sarasota Counties.

* Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: No)
The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will be billed for all administrative costs ($10,427.00). Additionally, all drivers' salaries, fuel, and bus use will be billed at $30.00 per hour and $1.75 per mile.
