Approve Renewal of Employee Services Agreement with University Area Community Development Corporation, Inc. (UACDC), 2009/2010 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We request approval for the renewal of the Employee Services Agreement with UACDC to fund the salaries of two part-time paraprofessionals, who provide Family Literacy services to the children of parents attending English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) or General Educational Development (GED) classes at the UACDC.

In order to continue services to the families of the children enrolled in ESOL and GED classes, the UACDC has agreed to pay the total salaries for two part-time paraprofessional positions, for twelve months, at a cost of no more than $45,500.

The amount of $45,500 will be invoiced to the University Area Community Development Corporation, Inc. by the school district's Budget Department.
