EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
On February 19, 2008, the Board appointed Reynolds, Smith & Hills, Inc. and Ellis Construction Company, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation has been planned in phases to accomplish the majority of the work during summer breaks and avoid the need for temporary portable classrooms. Phase 2 includes site drainage corrections, and new classroom windows, electrical service, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in selected buildings.
This change order provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District for Phase 2 of the renovation, in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program.
