Approve Change Order No. 2 in the Amount of $26,824.25 Extra and a Time Extension of 10 Calendar Days for Kitchen Renovation at
Riverview Elementary School

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On February 13, 2007, the Board appointed Schenkel Shultz Architecture and Halfacre Construction Company to provide design and construction management services for renovation of Riverview Elementary School. The renovation of the kitchen includes expansion of the servery, remodeling of the staff toilets to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, replacement of all food service equipment, replacement of all interior finishes, and a dumpster enclosure.

This change order provides for structural repairs necessitated by unforeseen conditions discovered by the construction manager during demolition of the kitchen floor. A time extension is included for completion of the work.
