On February 13, 2007, the Board appointed Rowe Architects, Inc. and J.B.D. Construction, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation of existing facilities includes roof and plaster wall repairs; exterior brick repointing, restoration, and sealing; interior painting; upgrades to emergency lighting, telephone, voice/data, closed circuit television (CCTV), and security systems; replacement of the fire alarm system and instructional aids; removal of carpet and refinishing of existing hardwood floors; handicap accessibility upgrades to door hardware, thresholds, and building entries; and the addition of a fire sprinkler system.

Change Order No. 5 provides a credit for the direct purchase of materials by the District, in accordance with the Direct Purchase Program. Change Order No. 6 provides a time extension to address unforeseen conditions associated with renovation of the clinic.
