Approve the Agreement for Technical Services for Staff Development to Provide "Special Topics in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum" Training to District Teachers (Information and Technology Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Staff Development Department will conduct eight Technology Integration online courses for 400 participants, November 18, 2009 through May 30, 2010. The provider will facilitate the online course, "Special Topics in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum," in response to Florida Sunshine State Standards applied technology requirements. This training will enable participants to incorporate technology within their curriculum.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted: Yes)
Funds of $18,500 are included in Technology Training, Staff Development Project 4503. Trainers are paid a fee, not to exceed a total of $1,942 (plus fringe), to facilitate 50 hours of technology integration online training.
EVALUATION
Participants will complete an online course evaluation of the training.
