Approve Student Progression Plan, K-Adult for 2009/2010 (Curriculum and Instruction Division)

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

We request approval of the attached 2009/2010 Student Progression Plan. Sections 1008.25, Florida Statutes (F.S.), requires each school district to establish a comprehensive program for student progression that includes standards for evaluating how well each student masters the performance standards, Next Generation Sunshine State Standards. To ensure alignment with the 2009/2010 State Student Progression Plan, elements have been added or modified within our district to comply with Florida Statutes as well as district procedural changes for elementary, middle, and high school, career and technical education, adult education, exceptional student education, English language learners and guidance. Major changes are attached.
