Recognition of Amy Cheng, King High School Student, 2009 Human Rights Essay Contest Winner (Student Services and Federal Programs Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The 36th annual Human Rights Awards Celebration breakfast was held December 11, 2009. Local and elected officials joined community leaders to honor the 2009 Human Rights Award winners. We are pleased to announce that Amy Cheng, student at King High School, received 1st place in the essay writing contest for her submission titled "Human Rights of Hope Begins with Voice".
