Recognition of MORE HEALTH, Incorporated and Their Team of Instructors  for Outstanding Contributions to the Instruction of Healthy Lifestyle Curricula to Students in Hillsborough County Public Schools (Secondary Education-Curriculum and Instruction Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
MORE HEALTH, Incorporated and their team of instructors have touched the lives of over 12 million students in Hillsborough County Public Schools (HCPS).  Their mission is to provide quality health education and injury prevention lessons that teach students how to keep their bodies healthy, safe, and strong.  MORE HEALTH brings health education to life through 24 interactive, dynamic health and safety lessons, and is instrumental in providing 23 different health and prevention educational programs to Hillsborough County students in kindergarten through the 12th grade. 

During the 2009/2010 school year, MORE HEALTH partnered with HCPS to serve as an instructional resource for the HCPS middle schools approved curriculum for Human Growth and Development and HIV/AIDS education.  Approximately 6,077 sixth grade students in more than 25 middle schools have directly benefited from this partnership.  Financial contributions made to HCPS for the 2009/2010 school year is approximately $80,000.
