Approve License Agreement Between The Citizens for the Old Lutz School Building, Inc. and The School Board of Hillsborough County for Additional Parking Area

School Board staff has approached a group known as "The Citizens for the Old Lutz School Building, Inc." to use a portion of the area surrounding the old Lutz School building for additional parking (the "License Area").  The License Area would be used by some parents of students attending Lutz Elementary School for parking to attend school functions or activities.  The actual building is owned by Hillsborough County and leased to the Citizens for community purposes.  The School Board will provide a certificate of insurance naming both Hillsborough County and the Citizens as insured parties.

 There will be no license fee charged to the School Board by the Citizens for use of the Licenses Area.  The Agreement has been reviewed by the School Board Attorney as to form and sufficiency.

The approval of the License Agreement with The Citizens for the Old Lutz School Building, Inc. for use of the License Area as additional parking will have no financial impact to the School Board.
