This design-build project was planned by the Facilities Division. On February 9, 2010, the Board awarded the contract for construction to the low bidder, Halfacre Construction Company.  The scope of work provided for metal playcourt canopies at Apollo Beach, Cork, McKitrick, and Robinson Elementary Schools.

The referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and Board acceptance is recommended. 

Expenditures were funded as follows: $95,139.50 (from Apollo Beach's contribution), $87,370.50 (from Cork's contribution), $74,462.50 (from McKitrick's contribution), $95,139.50 (from Robinson's contribution), and $50,000 for each school (from Local Millage Matching Funds).
