Approve Acceptance of Project for Canopy at Doby Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Carruthers & Associates Architects P.A. and Greater Bay Construction Co., Inc. were selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The scope of work provided for the extension of a canopy from the Administration Building to the parent pick-up area. The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. Due to the failure of Greater Bay Construction to complete the contract requirements, the Board recently terminated the agreement with Greater Bay for this project. Staff is working with the Board attorney to determine the appropriate disposition of the remaining funds due. |
