Approve Acceptance of Project for Renovation (Phase 2) at Ballast Point Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On February 19, 2008, the Board appointed Woodroffe Corporation Architects and J.B.D. Construction, Inc. to provide design and construction management services. The renovation was completed in phases to accomplish the majority of the work during summer breaks and avoid the need for temporary portable classrooms. Phase 2 of the renovation included sitework; selected plumbing, mechanical, and electrical revisions; handicap accessibility revisions; exterior painting; replacement of deteriorated doors; and a new bus drop-off canopy, windows, and fire sprinkler system. |
