SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Agreement with the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) to Host the FHSAA Soccer Finals State Championship Tournaments for the 2010/2011 and 2011/2012 School Years (Athletics Department)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the agreement to host the FHSAA Soccer Finals State Championship Tournament events February 9-19, 2011, and February 8-18, 2012, at University of Tampa's Pepin Rood Stadium, Tampa, Florida. The district has hosted this event for the previous two years at the same venue. To accommodate the large crowds, press, and media representation from a multitude of cities, FHSAA officials and staff as well as district personnel are needed to run the multi-day event.

• Demonstrate best financial practices • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
The expenditures for the tournaments will be offset by gate receipts and no additional funding will be required.
