EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Mechanical Engineering Solutions, Inc. was selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design services. On May 18, 2010, the Board awarded the contract for construction to the lowest qualified bidder, Q & Q, Inc. The scope of work included the replacement of the existing chiller plant at B.T. Washington Elementary School with a new plant incorporating ice storage, and replacement of the HVAC systems in Buildings 3 and 7 at Young Magnet Middle School. The engineer advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |

This item was included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The District was reimbursed in the amount of $8,457 by the engineer for correction of a design error. Contract Status: Required Substantial Completion Date: August 13, 2010 |
