The final phase of refingerprinting legislation has been implemented, and there are increasing numbers of individuals who are refingerprinting, which requires a staff member that can oversee the day-to-day operation of the Fingerprinting Department.
In addition, with an increased concern regarding the continued status of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Reserve III Commission now required of all Professional Standards investigators, the Professional Standards Department is being proactive in creating a new entry-level position -- Professional Standards Assistant II (Pay Grade 24) -- that will offer experience in the necessary investigative procedures addressed through the Professional Standards Department.
