| Year-End Financial Calendars for Use by All School and District Level Finance Liaisons (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The attached year-end financial calendars are very useful communication tools that have been utilized successfully over the past 12 years. As a planning tool, the year-end calendar provides valuable information regarding warehouse closure for inventory, project end dates, and various other items. The Budget Department compiled input from many departments (i.e. warehouse, instructional materials and technology) regarding deadline dates for the upcoming months.
The goal of the Business Division is to provide this information to administrators, principals, bookkeepers, and secretaries no later than March 1st of each year. The attached calendars were distributed and discussed with bookkeepers and secretaries at Finance Council meetings in February, and emailed to all principals, administrators, bookkeepers, and secretaries on February 24, 2011. These calendars are also posted in First Class email under Business News, Budget Department, and will be published in the Administrative Bulletin in March. |
