Approve Design Development Phase for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Hill Middle School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On October 5, 2010, the Board appointed Lyle Engineering Group, Inc. to provide design services. On October 26, 2010, the Board appointed Walbridge Aldinger Company to provide construction management services. The scope of work provides for the replacement of the HVAC, lighting, and low voltage systems; addition of a fire sprinkler system, and improvement to exiting and stairs to meet current code standards. Project completion is scheduled for August 2011. Approval of the design development phase will allow the architect to proceed with construction documents. |

The project is currently funded at $5,200,000. The estimate of probable cost is $5,200,000. This item is included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance and Local Millage. |
