Approve Perpetual Ingress/Egress and Utility Easement to Hillsborough County at Muller Elementary School and Bowers/Whitley Career Center

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

On August 19, 2003, the School Board of Hillsborough County entered into an Interlocal Agreement with Hillsborough County for the 22nd Street Main Street Community Improvement Project.  The Interlocal Agreement was for the construction of University Community Health Clinic, roadway improvements for the expansion of 22nd Street, joint stormwater facilities and utilization of joint parking and playfield areas.  As a part of this Project, on August 7, 2007 the School Board approved a land conveyance and drainage easement to Hillsborough County for retention and right-of-way improvements.

During the County's final review of the Project, it was noted that an easement for installation, operation, maintenance, ingress and egress for electric service by Tampa Electric Company at the two areas previously conveyed was not submitted for School Board approval.  The easement areas are Parcel 902 and 902A as shown on Exhibit "A", a total of 200 +/- square feet and 477 +/- square feet, respectively.  This easement is the final requirement of the School Board per the Interlocal Agreement.
