EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
This project was planned by the architectural firm of Fleischman Garcia Architects. On January 16, 2007, the Board appointed the construction management firm of Allstate Construction, Inc. The renovation of existing facilities provided for required walkway lighting; signage, restroom, plumbing fixture, and door hardware upgrades for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) system replacement at selected buildings; exhaust fan replacements throughout the school; interior painting; electrical equipment and distribution system replacements; lighting upgrades; new exterior doors; new fire alarm and telephone systems; replacement of most site fencing; and reroofing and brick repointing on selected buildings. Additionally, the Administrative Suite was reconfigured for improved operations, and Student Dining expanded to include a multipurpose room with stage and a Faculty Dining space. The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |
