EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Riverview High School faculty, staff, and community members have requested that the gymnasium at Riverview High School be named the Ron Wardlow Gymnasium in honor of Mr. Wardlow.

Mr. Wardlow began his employment in 1978 as a teacher at Mann Middle School and retired from Hillsborough County Public Schools in January 2009, as Assistant Principal of Administration at Riverview High School.  During his 31 years of employment, Mr. Wardlow held the positions of teacher, Human Relations Specialist, Assistant Principal of Student Affairs, and Assistant Principal of Administration.

Mr. Wardlow had a great influence on the community, faculty, staff, and students.  Mr. Wardlow loved all sports, especially basketball.  He made a difference by encouraging athletes to do well in academics and sports.  He helped many students obtain scholarships.
