The University of Tampa Department of Nursing Baccalaureate and Graduate Programs (University) faculty and nursing students may use School Health Services Staff Registered Nurses, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, and a Medical Doctor Preceptor in clinical practice. The number of students, specific dates, and sites will be determined prior to the nursing student’s clinical rotation. All parties will agree to this prior to the beginning of each clinical rotation. School Health Services Staff Registered Nurses, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners, and/or a Medical Doctor Preceptor will accompany nursing students at clinical practice sites. Learning experiences will be planned by School Health Services Staff in collaboration with the Department of Nursing faculty.
