Approve the Component Addition to the Master Plan for In-service Education | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Florida Statute Section 1012.98 requires that each district school board shall develop and maintain an in-service educational training program. Descriptions of training programs offered for in-service credit are incorporated into the Master Plan for In-service Education. The revision of the Master Plan for In-service Education is approved annually by the School Board and Florida Department of Education. During the year specific training needs arise that require new courses to be developed and added to the master plan. | |

The cost of developing this course, $708, is from the Teacher Incentive Fund 2 Grant. | |
EVALUATION | |
Required Department of Education evaluations are completed at the conclusion of each training and reported to the state by June 30 each year. The results of the evaluation will be captured through the Professional Development System. | |
