Approve Continuation of Parking Management Agreement with 241 Car Services, Inc. for Lot 2F Leased by the School Board of Hillsborough County from the Hillsborough County Expressway Authority

On May 4, 2010, the School Board of Hillsborough County approved a Parking Management Agreement with 241 Car Services, Inc. for Lot 2F (Exhibit A).  The Lot is part of the School Board's overall additional parking areas leased from the Hillsborough County Expressway Authority located in close proximity to the Raymond O. Shelton School Administrative Building and Rampello Downtown Partnership School.  These parking areas are for the faculty, staff, employees and visitors of both the ROSSAC Building and Rampello.  General Counsel of the Expressway Authority has agreed that the continuation of this management service is acceptable.

241 Car Services manages the parking on Lot 2F located on Whiting and Washington Streets in the evenings, weekends and on holidays.  The Company will pay a monthly rental fee to the School Board of $416.67 ($5,000 annually), carry insurance that is acceptable to the School Board and be responsible for security, maintenance and the landscaping of Lot 2F.

Monthly rental income of $416.67 from 241 Car Services, Inc. for parking management of Lot 2F on Whiting and Washington Streets will be receipted to the Parking Fee Account.
