Approve Renewal Agreement for Educational Services with Beth-El Farmworker Ministry, Inc., 2011/2012 (Adult Education)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We request approval of the renewal agreement for the continuation of educational services by the Department of Adult Education for adult farmworkers at facilities operated by Beth-El Farmworker Ministry, Inc. The Agreement for Educational Services (Financial) renews the commitment by the district to compensate Beth-El Farmworker Ministry, Inc. for the cost of utilities incurred by the use of classroom space by the Department of Adult Education. Classes offered at Beth-El Farmworker Ministry, Inc. include Adult Basic Education (ABE), General Educational Development (GED) preparation, and instruction for students seeking to earn a state of Florida high school diploma as well as instruction in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
