Approve Award of Contract for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Lockhart Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The approved District Five Year Plan includes the project for renovation of the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system at Lockhart Elementary School. On October 5, 2010, the Board appointed VoltAir Consulting Engineers, LLC to provide design services. The scope of work provides for new ductwork; renovation of the existing air handler; replacement of lighting and acoustical ceilings; a new energy management control system; a new fire sprinkler system; and replacement of the existing fire alarm, intercom, and security systems. |

Total funds in the amount of $1,756,606 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Local Millage. The contract amount being awarded is $1,700,000. |
