Approve Award of Contract for Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Renovation at Lewis Elementary School | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The approved District Five Year Plan includes the project for renovation of the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system at Lewis Elementary School. On October 5, 2010, the Board appointed Ossi Consulting Engineers, Inc. to provide design services. The scope of work provides for new ductwork; replacement of the existing air handlers; replacement of lighting and acoustical ceilings; a new energy management control system; a new fire sprinkler system; and renovation of the existing data network and security systems. |

Total funds in the amount of $2,242,223 are included in the District Capital Outlay: Public Education Capital Outlay (PECO) Maintenance. The contract amount being awarded is $2,036,720. |
