| Accept the Piggyback of Bid #10-024-VJ, Print Center Paper - Graphic Services Between Mac Papers, Inc. and the District School Board of Pasco County, Florida (Business Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| The district will be utilizing the District School Board of Pasco County, Florida, agreement to purchase paper for the Central Printing Department. Examples of paper products purchased include carbonless, index, vellum bristol, envelopes, glossy, copy, certificate, and various assorted specialty papers.
The term of the Pasco contract is for three years beginning July 1, 2009, renewable annually. Mac Papers, Inc. has agreed to renew for the second year, beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012, with terms and conditions to remain unchanged; however, supplier may submit an updated published price list on a quarterly basis. Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) rule 6A-1.102 and district policy allow purchases from contracts awarded by other government agencies, district school boards, Department of Management Services (DMS), etc., at or below specified prices. The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement for the terms of the specifications. |
