SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve the Interlocal Agreement with the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department to Provide School Buses and School Bus Drivers and Attendant Bus Riders for Summer Field Trips
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department will obtain the use of twenty-eight (28) buses, drivers and attendants to be employed for field trips servicing children participating in summer Parks and Recreation programs across the County.  The dates of use range from June 20, 2011 through August 4, 2011.  The trip destinations include sites in Hillsborough, Orange and Pinellas Counties.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  No)
Hillsborough County will be billed for all administrative costs ($2,500).  Additionally, all drivers' salaries, fuel and bus use will be billed at $30.00 per hour and $1.75 per mile.
