Approve Construction Documents and Guaranteed Maximum Price for Modular Installations at LaVoy Exceptional Center | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On May 3, 2011, the Board approved the addition to Community Investment Tax projects for replacement of obsolete and non-economically repairable portable facilities with modular buildings. District staff selected Long & Associates Architects/Engineers, Inc. and The A. D. Morgan Corporation from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for a portion of the portable replacement requirements. The scope of work included in this item provides for the demolition and replacement of modular classrooms on the LaVoy Exceptional Center campus. Project completion is scheduled for August 14, 2011. Approval of the Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) will establish the cost for the project. |
