Approve Updated Safe Driver Plan
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Safe Driver Plan Committee is recommending the attached identified changes to the Safe Driver Plan to bring the terminology in line with Law Enforcement and the State of Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.  Changes will eliminate confusion and apply to employees and applicants with Driving Under the Influence/Driving Under the Influence reduced charges or Driving Under the Influence sanctions applied.  Also, changes in the makeup of the Safe Driver Plan Committee Members to more accurately reflect departments that operate district-owned vehicles.  The Safe Driver Plan is administered by the District Safety Office.
