SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Approve Acceptance of Project for High Stakes Testing Labs (Phase 2: Area 3)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
To support implementation of computer-based high stakes testing, the District converted one or two classrooms at each school to a High Stakes Testing Lab. Modification of electrical, data, and heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems associated with each lab was needed to support the classroom conversion. Staff organized the work into three phases, with the work in each phase divided into two projects. Howard & Associates Architects, P.A. and Nujak were selected from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services for one of the Phase 2 projects. This project accomplished a portion of the lab installations included in the second phase. (Included sites are identified in the attachment.) The architect advises that the referenced project is finally complete in accordance with the plans and specifications and other contract documents and recommends Board acceptance. |
