Accept the Proposal Submitted by Creative Recycling Systems, Inc. - Request for Proposal (RFP) #11061-DST Disposal and Recycling of Electronic Equipment (Business Division) | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On April 15, 2011, the Procurement Department, in conjunction with the Safety and Risk Management Department, issued an RFP for the disposal and recycling of the district's end-of-life electronics equipment. These items include computers, copiers, televisions, printers, fax machines, and light fixture ballasts. Award of this contract shall be to the highest ranked proposal meeting all terms and conditions. This recommendation has been reviewed by the Manager of the Safety and Risk Management Department. A more detailed review of the specifications can be obtained by contacting the Procurement Department. The initial term of this contract will be for a three-year period, from July 27, 2011 to July 26, 2014, with two one-year renewals, subject to negotiations and mutual agreement. The Superintendent is authorized to approve the renewal agreement, per the terms of the specifications. |

EVALUATION | |
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team. Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report. Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract. | |
