Approve Agricultural Lease Between Artesian Farms, Inc. and the School Board of Hillsborough County at Lennard High School |

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
On July 27, 2010, the School Board of Hillsborough County entered into an Agricultural Lease with Artesian Farms, Inc. for cattle pasture for the Agribusiness Department at Lennard High School. The property includes approximately 45 acres located south of 11th Avenue, west of 24th Street, and north of Shell Point Road in Ruskin and is used to manage cattle for land laboratory experiences for students enrolled in the Veterinary Assisting and Agritechnology Programs. The attached Lease is for the upcoming 2011 school year with a term of three (3) years and an option of two three (3) year renewal terms. The location of the leased area will be the same as previously used by the school. |
