Approve Agreement with the City of Temple Terrace for the 2011/2012 School Resource Officer Program (Administrative Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The School Board annually approves an agreement with the City of Temple Terrace for the placement of a School Resource Officer at Greco Middle School.  The agreement is administered by the City of Temple Terrace for the 2011/2012 fiscal year.  The participating law enforcement agencies in the School Resource Officer Program pay 50% of the program cost.
STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
• Align financial resources to support the district’s strategic goals • Demonstrate best financial practices • Promote a culture of safety, which is free from harassment, bullying, and aggression • Demonstrate "best practices" in all aspects of safety including students, employees, visitors, facilities, transportation, and health
FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Total expenditure of the request is $44,705.  The sum is funded in the Division of Administration budget.
