Approve Agricultural Lease Between Verda L. Moyer and the School Board of Hillsborough County for Pasture Land at Armwood High School

Since 1999, the Armwood High School Agricultural Department has been using property owned by Verda L. Moyer located at 6405 Short Street, Seffner, Florida to provide housing for the Program's livestock.  The property provides the livestock with a much needed grazing area and the program would not be possible without this pasture land.  The Program's animals are also donated by the community.

The approval of the Agricultural Lease between the School Board and Ms. Moyer expands the campus site for the laboratory facilities to house the animals which are necessary for practical student experiences in caring for livestock. 

The Lease will have an initial term of three years, with two three-year renewal options.  Ms. Moyer has reviewed and approved the terms and conditions of this Lease.

The Agricultural Lease between the School Board of Hillsborough County and Verda L. Moyer for property located at 6405 Short Street, Seffner, Florida for Armwood High School's Agricultural Program will have no financial impact to the School Board.
