SUBJECT / RECOMMENDATIONS
Accept the Piggyback of RFQ T-0173-05(RB), Auto Body Repair Services Between Master Collision Repair and Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners, Tampa, Florida (Business Division)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The district will be utilizing the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners' (BOCC) agreement for repairs to body damage on school buses and trucks owned by the district.  The Transportation Department also requires vendor expertise when damage, such as frame straightening, requires specialized equipment.

The term of the BOCC contract is for five years beginning November 6, 2008 through September 30, 2013.  Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) rule 6A-1.012 and district policy allow purchases from contracts awarded by other government agencies, district school boards, Department of Management Services (DMS), etc., at or below specified prices.

FINANCIAL IMPACT (Budgeted:  Yes)
Expenditures were $69,500 for 2010/2011, and $22,200 for 2009/2010.
EVALUATION
Contract administration or evaluation is performed by the Project Manager (end user) and Procurement Officer, who function as a team.  Reviews are conducted face to face, typically quarterly, or by utilizing an online vendor performance report.   Prior to soliciting a new contract, the Contract Administration team must first give consideration to the specifications and supporting data of the expiring contract.
