EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The primary emphasis of the placement for a student with disabilities by a state agency is for a comprehensive assessment, the development of effective behavior management strategies, and habitation needs. The state agency pays the habitat and noneducational portion of the placement.
The student's resident district is responsible for the assurance of provision for FAPE and Exceptional Student Education (ESE) services for the duration of the student's residential placement. The district will pay Carlton Palms Educational Center, Inc. the full-time equivalent (FTE) it generates for each student. The FTE generated for the 2011/2012 school year is calculated based on the base student allocation for Hillsborough County and the matrix of services that are developed for each student. |
