Approve Design Development Phase for Administrative Modular Installation at South County Career Center | |
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
Installation of a modular facility on the South County Career Center site is planned to provide administrative office space for Administrative Area VIII. District staff selected Gould Evans Associates, PL and Peter R. Brown Construction, Inc. from the approved Continuing Services Consultants list to provide design and construction management services. The project scope includes site preparation, utility and low-voltage connection, and build-out of a 36x120 modular facility. Sidewalks, canopies, landscaping and parking modifications for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance are also included. Project completion is scheduled for October 2011. Approval of the Design Development Phase will allow the architect to proceed with construction documents. |
