| Approve Graduation Dates for the 2011/2012 School Year | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
| Traditionally, high school graduations were held at two venues. The 2010/11 graduations were all held at the Florida State Fairgrounds due to construction at the Sun Dome. The Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall accommodated rehearsals and graduations over the course of several weeks for 27 high schools and Adult Education. The successful graduation experience promoted the scheduling of all high school and Adult and Community Education graduations again at the Florida State Fairgrounds.
Graduations are scheduled for May 31, 2012, through June 9, 2012, at the Florida State Fairgrounds Expo Hall for 27 high schools and the Adult and Community Education Program. The last day of regular classes for seniors will be Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Senior exams are scheduled for May 22, 2012, through May 25, 2012. Graduation dates, times and locations for all schools including ESE and Career Centers are attached. |
