| Approve the Addendum of the Existing Contract with Prints, Inc. (Human Resources Division) | |
| EXECUTIVE SUMMARY | |
The School Board of Hillsborough County, FL, agrees with the addendum to the existing contract with Prints, Inc. as a subcontractor to facilitate fingerprints to Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), which will forward the records to the appropriate licensure. Until March 1, 2007, school districts facilitated the fingerprinting process for all state licensure agencies at the request of the Department of Education. Because of a state request for proposal, Prints, Inc. was awarded the contract. They have requested that the school district become a subcontractor to assist in improving their services. Prints Inc. will provide the necessary equipment, training, and technical assistance. This contract has been reviewed by our School Board attorney and previously approved by the School Board on May 29, 2007. |
